Experience one of Jordan’s most beautiful canyon hikes on this one-day trek through Wadi Ghuweir, a dramatic and water‑filled gorge known for its towering sandstone walls, lush vegetation and flowing streams.
The trek starts in Al‑Mansoura (Shobak) and follows the wadi downstream towards Feynan, taking you deep into the heart of the canyon. Along the way, you will walk through narrow passages, shallow water and shaded sections that offer a refreshing contrast to the surrounding desert landscape.
After completing the full trail, participants will need to return to their starting point by vehicle, with a transfer time of approximately 2 hours to reach their parked cars.

Approximate time: 6 hours (including lunch break)

Optional shorter route:
For those who prefer a shorter experience, it is possible to walk partway into the canyon and then return the same way to the car, allowing you to enjoy the beauty of Wadi Ghuweir at a more relaxed pace.
Note: This trek involves walking in water and on uneven surfaces so walking shoes/boots are required. Conditions can change depending on weather and seasion.
